The Universe we live in is three-dimensional (3D). This means it has three dimensions: length, width, and height. These three dimensions allow us to move and experience space in different directions.
However, there are theories in physics, especially in string theory, that suggest the universe might have more than just three spatial dimensions. Some theories propose extra dimensions (like 4D or 10D), but these dimensions would be tiny and hidden from our direct perception.
For our everyday experience, though, the universe is 3D, and we move through it in those three dimensions.
