The two main types of ISPs (Internet Service Providers) are:
- Dial-up ISP: This type uses a telephone line to connect to the internet. It's the traditional way of connecting to the internet, but it's very slow and less common now. Dial-up connections require a modem to connect to the ISP's servers.
- Broadband ISP: This is a faster type of internet connection. Broadband ISPs provide high-speed internet access through various methods like DSL (Digital Subscriber Line), cable, fiber optics, satellite, or wireless. It is the most common type of internet service nowadays, offering much faster speeds than dial-up.
Broadband ISPs are now the preferred choice for most users due to their speed and reliability.
